He's got a beard and he's not afraid to use it! In this week's #MeetTeamHG post, we interview our Director of Photography, Kevin "The Beard-Man" Mauch. Born and raised in Colorado, Kevin brings decades of experience to the Harvest Growth table. On shoot days, this gentle giant is known for bringing everyone on and off set together as well as making everyone smile from his witty jokes. When he isn't behind the scenes, he has also been known to star in a few smaller roles to show the actors how it's done. Check out his interview below!
How long have you been in the video production industry?
Roughly 20 years if you count the side work during college.
How long have you been at Harvest Growth?
9 years
What advice would you give yourself if you could go back to Day 1 of your career? Hang in there, it gets better. Where did you grow up? Lamar, Colorado Which celebrity do you get mistaken for? Karl Mecklenburg mostly, but I also get some Trace Adkins and Tracy Lawrence here and there.
Favorite recent brand experience? FitBit. It's motivated me, the product itself is great, and the company has always put their customers first just like it should be.
What would you name the autobiography of your life? "You Can Dance to That: An Autobiography of Kevin Mauch"

Least favorite chore?
Unloading the dishwasher. I just don't like it.
If you could go to any concert (dead or alive), who would it be? The Highwaymen just so it encompasses some of the greatest (Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, )
What is your hidden talent? I'm a pretty mean air-drummer
